Why is my usage slightly different from my carrier's?
DataLeft reads your device's own network counters, which include all traffic on the device. Carriers measure on their side, so small differences are normal. You can enter an offset in the plan editor ("Already used") to align them.
Does DataLeft track per-app usage?
No — iOS does not provide that information to third-party apps. DataLeft shows device-wide cellular and WiFi totals.
How do travel eSIM plans work?
Add a Travel eSIM plan before your trip. On the start date you'll get a reminder — switch to the plan once your eSIM is active, and switch back when you return.
How accurate is tracking while the app is closed?
Adding a home or Lock Screen widget improves accuracy — the widget samples usage whenever the system refreshes it.
